What wood species grain patterns are in this collection?

We designed this floor with two different grain patterns: Tavern Oak and Antique Oak. We have four colors available in each grain pattern. Both grain patterns are inspired by live sawn European Oak flooring. The Antique Oak pattern has slightly more character and variation than the Tavern Oak pattern. See all of the flooring options here.

Is this floor actually waterproof?

There are many floors that claim to be waterproof, but are not actually “water-tight.” This is an important difference. Just because the material of a floor may be waterproof does not mean that water cannot cause a problem if it seeps through the locking mechanism and causes mold to grow underneath your floor.

Multi-Length Rigid Core Flooring is both waterproof AND has a water-tight locking mechanism. If you notice a water spill on your floor, just mop or dry it up and you will have no problems.

Is this floor really waterproof? An important feature to consider is whether the locking system is watertight. A watertight locking system won’t allow spills to seep through the seams. Is acclimation needed before I install Multi-Length Rigid Core Flooring?

For residential installations we do not require any humidity or moisture acclimation. We only require that the product be acclimated to room temperature, between 60-80 degrees Fahrenheit. Download our installation instructions for more information.

Is this product warranted in 3 season rooms?

Multi-Length Rigid Core Flooring carries a lifetime residential warranty as long as the conditions the floor is kept in remain between 60-80 degrees Fahrenheit.

Is there a full-piece stair tread option?

We don’t currently have a full-piece stair tread available, but we’re exploring adding this to our molding and trim selection. You can see our moldings that are available here. Also note that our molding and trim pieces are made with the same color film as the flooring itself to ensure a perfect match.

Our molding and trim pieces are made with the same color film as our floors to give a perfect match. We are exploring adding more options to our current molding and trim selection. See our accessories page for what we currently offer.

What is the overall thickness of the floor?

The overall thickness is 6 millimeters. The SPC flooring is 5mm, plus a 1mm IXPE foam underlayment that is attached to the back of each plank for a total of 6mm.

What keeps the ends of the boards from coming apart once it is installed?

Multi-Length Rigid Core Flooring uses the UNIPUSH® locking mechanism to give a watertight 4-sided lock on every plank. The UNIPUSH® locking mechanism locks both horizontally and vertically to prevent boards from coming out of place.

Watch the video below to see how the UNIPUSH® locking mechanism works.

What is the minimum spacing between the ends of each plank for the next row?

We recommend 1.5x the width of the board for spacing between the ends of each plank on the next row of flooring. Multi-Length Rigid Core Flooring is 7” wide, so we would recommend approximately 11” between the joints. Download our installation instructions for more guidance on how to install.
